• A Mechanical Engineer : Minimum 10 years’ experience within the Mechanical / Structural Engineering Sector (experience in Civil & Electrical estimating highly advantageous)
• Project Planning – MS Projects Levels 4 / 5,
• Estimation of enquiries and tenders
• Tender Planning/Pricing and Assistance with technical aspects such as Method statements, QCP’s, Programme, HSE, Quality, etc
• Understanding of NEC 3 Contracts
• Technical Minded
• Candidates must supply all certifications with their application.

 Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree is a must.
• Minimum of 10 years sales and marketing experience within the Engineering/Construction Industry with a successful track record of building relationships.
• Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations.
• Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Extensive Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering & Construction of Structural Steel/Pressure Vessels/Tanks/ Services & Maintenance Contracts etc.
• Existing Network/Database.
• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand Channel Construction’s footprint.
• Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the management team.
• Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with the marketing and project management teams.
• Ability to travel as needed.
